Physical and Occupational Therapy

Outpatient Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) are core services provided at the Bloomington Bone and Joint Clinic. Our staff is comprised of licensed therapists who specialize in the evaluation and treatment of individuals following an orthopedic injury or illness. Our staff works directly with the physicians at BBJ in order to develop appropriate treatment plans and insure the best possible outcomes. The OT’s and PT’s include exercise, functional training, and custom splinting during treatment in order to return individuals to pre-injury abilities when appropriate.

The therapy staff at BBJ has extensive training in all orthopedic related conditions including:

• Surgical and non-surgical conditions
• Shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand injuries/conditions
• Hip, knee, ankle, and foot injuries
• Spine injuries and conditions

• NSCA : Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
• CHT : Certified Hand Therapist

This would include post operative care for ACL reconstruction, Meniscectomy, Labral Debridement, Total Hip and Knee Joint replacements among others.

Our highly-trained Occupational Therapists specialize in the treatment of patients with Upper Extremity injuries. This would include post operative care for Rotator Cuff Repair, Shoulder Decompression, Carpal Tunnel, Total Joint replacements in the Upper Extremity and traumatic fractures/soft tissue injuries.
